Fresnay-sur-Sarthe is situated in the Sarthe Department, in the Pays de la Loire Region, at 220 kilometers west of Paris and about 30 minutes by car from the city of Le Mans. Less than an hour (exactly 55 minutes) is necessary to travel from Le Mans to Paris by TGV.
